We are delighted to share the following information about Finding Africa’s fourth and concluding seminar of the term!
Finding Africa is an independent postcolonial African studies platform that facilitates interdisciplinary dialogue by various agents, mainly in the form of seminars, both in academia and beyond. This year, the theme is “African Places, African Spaces.”

The title of the last and final presentation is: Translocality, Small Magazines, and Nigerian Poetry. The fourth seminar features Rachel Bower who will present her work on small magazines, anthologies, literary networks, and exciting crossings between poets in Ibadan and Leeds.
The seminar will take place on Tuesday, 14th May, from 4:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. in Seminar Room 2, LAHRI, Leeds University Centre for African Studies (LUCAS).
