Leeds University Centre for African Studies (LUCAS) is an interdisciplinary centre that brings together scholars with an active interest in Africa from across different schools and faculties at the University of Leeds.

Prof. Paul Cooke is director of the Centre for World Cinemas and Digital Cultures at the University of Leeds, which has partnered with the 31st Leeds International Film Festival to deliver a series of international events called ‘Voicing Hidden Histories’ (12-15 Nov 2017) that explores participatory arts and activist filmmaking across the world – see this link for more:
